Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance

As a nonprofit serving the entire United States and Canada, we partner with maid services to offer professional house cleanings to help women undergoing treatment for cancer, any type of cancer.
Sisterhood Ovarian Cancer Foundation
Sisterhood Ovarian Cancer Foundation, a non-profit organization based in the Philadelphia, PA area., provides aid to ovarian cancer patients to improve the quality of life. The aid includes wigs for patients enduring chemotherapy, transportation to treatments, or nourishing meals for a young family.
Family Reach Foundation
Family Reach Give is the first crowd-funding platform designed specifically for families fighting cancer.The patient must be in active treatment or within one year of treatment in order for the family to qualify. In each case, a child or young adult must be impacted in a significant way. For example, they provide assistance parents living with cancer who have young children (aged 17 or younger).

ASSISTANCE FOR TRAVEL TO TREATMENT
The American Cancer Society Road to Recovery program provides transportation to and from treatment for people who have cancer who do not have a ride or are unable to drive themselves. Volunteer drivers donate their time and the use of their cars so that patients can receive the life-saving treatments they need.
Corporate Angel Network is the only charitable organization in the United States whose sole mission is to help cancer patients access the best possible treatment for their specific type of cancer by arranging free travel to treatment across the country using empty seats on corporate jets.
Air Charity Network is a charitable organization that provides access for people in need who are seeking free air transportation to specialized health care facilities or distant destinations due to family, community, or national crisis.
National Patient Travel Center 800-296-1217, is a Virginia Beach, Va.-based organization that helps cancer patients get from here to there for treatment.Its purpose is to ensure that no financially-needy patient is denied access to distant specialized medical evaluation, diagnosis or treatment for lack of a means of long-distance medical transportation.
Angel Flight primarily serves patients needing transportation to or from the heartland region. Our Patients are usually traveling for surgery, chemotherapy, dialysis, and other treatments. A typical flight may carry patients requiring treatment at M.D. Anderson in Houston or the Shriner Hospital in Galveston, TX.
The mission and purpose of Angel Flight at NIH is “to ensure that no patient in financial need is denied access to research studies for lack of a means of long-distance medical air transportation.” Nationwide and not just to and from NIHThe Angel Flight at NIH program is administered by Mercy Medical Airlift.
Denver-based 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to providing flights to medical facilities throughout the United States, for all people in need of Medical Care, whether it be routine in nature, or critical and life-saving.
LifeLine Pilots is committed to facilitating transportation for individuals in need. Our passengers experience extraordinary situations such as An ambulatory and medically stable patient going to a medical center for diagnosis and/or treatment.
“MMA’s mission is to ensure that no financially stressed patient is denied access to distant specialized medical evaluation, diagnosis or treatment for lack of a means of long-distance medical transportation; further, to ensure the provision of urgent transportation in situations of compelling human need and homeland security emergencies.”
Patient AirLift Services covers flights in the entire northeast United States as far west as Ohio and as far south as Virginia.
Some examples of the types of flights we accept include flights for:
- People with a large number and duration of chemotherapy or other treatments
- People that must avoid public places and confined spaces because of immuno-deficiencies
- People that are too weak or fragile to endure the long waits and delays at commercial airports
- People that are part of the support structure for one that is far away and very ill
Raquel’s Wings for Life is a non-profit organization servicing Wise County, TX which transports cancer patients free of cost to the medical center they need
The Teal Tea Foundation supports the “Give Women A Lift” Program which offers transportation to women with Ovarian or other Gynecological Cancers who are facing financial hardship. Most recipients of Give Women A Lift are women who do not have a ride or are unable to drive themselves to treatments and appointments. The program provides reimbursement for taxi and care service costs. Requests are made by case workers, social workers or patient care coordinators; and funds are distributed through the case worker or directly to a qualified transportation company. The program’s current reach is New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
Hope Lodge is a service of the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org. Twenty-two lodges in 16 states and Puerto Rico currently provide temporary free housing for cancer patients who need outpatient treatment. The emphasis is on providing a nurturing, home-like environment that’s conducive to healing.
Joe’s House is a nonprofit organization providing a nation-wide online service that helps cancer patients and their families find lodging near treatments centers.
