Kindah™ Foundation raises awareness about the warning signs, symptoms, early detection and prevention of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), Ovarian Cancer, and Cervical Cancer and it’s relation to the HPV by participating in health fairs, fundraising events, informative educational workshops, and our annual Teal 5K Run / Fun Walk™. EDUCATION & PREVENTION
Teal Teen Project™ is an educational community workshop for young women and teenage girls in high schools, colleges, and universities. Teal Teen Project™ include a two-part workshop series.
The first workshop focuses on the Epidemic of HPV and it’s relations to cervical cancer. During the workshop, female students will participate in lectures, activities, and discussions. The goal of this workshop is to have the youth themselves modify behaviors that can increase their risk of HPV acquisition and transmission.
The second part of the workshop focuses on PCOS & Ovarian Cancer known as the “Silent Killer”. The workshop focus on early diagnosis of PCOS, the several medical risks associated with PCOS including (insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and heart disease). This workshop is open to anyone who suffers or thinks they may suffer from PCOS or the symptoms of PCOS and want to learn about PCOS. How to deal with PCOS and its symptoms holistically, those looking for alternatives in their healing journey and support. Participants will be encouraged to share their stories and hear from Gynecologist, Doctors, Nurses, holistic health practitioners, and hear stories of other women or girls their age living with PCOS.
SURVIVOR SUPPORT SERVICES
Sister Circle of Strength (SCOS) Program is designed for authentic sisterhood and service. Through the Sister Circle of Strength Program females who are diagnosed with Cervical Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, PCOS, and HPV that are currently receiving treatment are provided with the following support services (co-payment assistant, prescription assistant, supportive care, and other out-of-pocket health care costs assistant). To qualify for this program, you need to complete the application attached. After signing up the Kindah Foundation delivery a Purple Heart Chemo Survivor Care Kit to the hospital or home where they’re receiving treatment. We believe no woman should go through gynecologic cancer, HPV, and PCOS alone; and should have a place to connect locally or online. The Sister Circle of Strenght allows female from all around the world to connect through one common mission to inspire hope and save lives.
